When users search for particular items in the main AnyHire item directory and get no results, your business listing will be listed instead. This is based on the area, category and products searched for. Your business listing participates automatically.

Your free business info page (the About page) is the first building block of your very own customizable private website. Options include ability to add a self-contained, fully functional private shop and an unlimited number of custom pages, all appearing as additional tabs.

One of our design goals is to keep the focus on you and your listings. That means no 3rd party ads on your product detail pages and others! Only two pages within the entire AnyHire.com website are allowed to contain limited third party ads!

Upload your own logo, header, background and other graphics. Define colors to match your corporate style.

You can select any name to create a web address provided it’s available. The full addresses will then look like NoosaBoats.anyhire.com, BobsHire.anyhire.com etc.

Choose the page that is opened when a user types in your web address. By default this page is the “About” page, or, if you have a private shop, it is the Private Shop page. With this service it can also be any one of your custom pages you like.

You can add any number of pages containing any text and pictures you want. These will be added to your site as additional left-side tabs or sub-tabs if you so choose.

In cases where you may need more than additional static information pages, we offer page design and development services. Just talk to us.

Display your business name with your listed items plus display a large logo of your business above the searches in all pages that return at least one of your listings. Your logo will link to your company’s “About” page within the business directory, to your private shop if you have one set up or even to your own website.

Every time you discount any of your AnyHire listings, these will be automatically advertised on your ‘About’ business page within the business directory.

Additionally, you have the option to highlight the items within search result lists ($2 / per week) and push them to the top of such lists for an additional $1 per week.

Any listing can be pushed to the top of the results with item promotions option. This is a variable cost service based on competitive interest of other advertisers at your location and category. It works similar to the Google AdWords program and can cost as low as $5 per month.

The standard directory ‘About’ page offers you up to three slots in the left side bar to advertise anything you like, be it an item, store-wide discounts, new arrivals etc. This ad space is yours and yours only, nobody else can advertise there.

If you have a Private Shop page or Private Website set up, these ads will automatically appear on all of those pages as well.

3 public ad areas exist to show classic image-based ads:

• Left sidebar under the category list on the main search results page can either show up to 3 small rectangle ads or a medium-wide skyscraper + 1 additional small rectangle ad below it. This space can contain off-topic ads but shows topical ads first if the ad rank is otherwise equal.
• Large rectangles (300 x 200px) are shown under the search results and are only available to hire businesses to advertise items or services that are closely related to the current category and location.

• A "wide skyscraper" or up to 3 rectangles 200 x 180px at the top right corner of the business directory detail pages. The ads here are also shown based on one or more selected areas and categories.

The pricing of all of these ads is auction-based. You determine the maximum price you are willing to pay per 1000 impressions (CPM) and per actual click (CPC) and only the lowest CPC price to beat the competition or the current minimum CPC price is charged to you after running an automatic auction for the ad spots and only if your ad is clicked.

You can buy the 3rd party ad space for yourself on your own About page to prohibit others ads from appearing.

Banners are shown in directory search result pages based on location and selected category and are only allowed to advertise related products or companies offering products that belong to the selected category.

This option is suitable for intensive country-wide advertising. Anyone, including non-hire businesses can advertise under the category hierarchy tree on both the item as well as business search / browse pages. For the price above these ads are static, which means that they do not alter with other ads and are not dependent on the selected category. They are simply shown all the time during the paid period, at the top of other ads (see Adverts above) and for a whole country or countries selected upon purchase. Up to 3 squares or a single "wide skyscraper" ad formats are available.
