The idea behind

The idea and purpose of AnyHire.com are to radically simplify hiring / renting for the ordinary person and to give professional hire businesses the opportunity to reach wider markets and expand their offerings. The basic principles which AnyHire uses to reach these goals can be summarized in the following points:

  • Centralize all things for hire in one easy-to-use place. Free the users from the need to perform generic searches using general-use search engines.
  • Let users go through the entire rental process online. No more over-the-phone price or availability confirmations. No more sites which offer no online payment options. Simplify it even more if it can be simplified. Offer a single payment for multiple hires--even if hired from multiple hirers, in multiple countries, using multiple currencies!
  • Offer what the user is really looking for: the actual items, their availability and their prices. The user is not too interested in the actual company, at least not at first. A simple rating by fellow customers may be much more useful.
  • Allow private persons to offer their own rarely-used items for hire. Peer-to-peer hire makes renting accessible virtually anywhere and substantially broadens the range of things that can actually be hired.
  • Much more accessible and often cheaper hires will encourage more people to hire much more often instead of buy. Everybody saves money, the rental market expands and we save our environment from the pollution caused by the unnecessary production and disposal of stuff.
  • Allow businesses, aspiring enterpreneurs, and the common Joe or Jane to research the demand data and offer new, most-often-requested items for hire.
  • Simple to use but powerful web application that has the ability to grow with the user's experience.
  • Fast even for users with slower connections.
